Ireland and UK Call Charges on Skype for Business Dropped.

Today, we have announced that we are dropping our call charges to Ireland and UK landlines to zero for customers using our Skype for Business UC Service. Yes, that’s NOT a typo, we will no longer charge for these calls from 1st October.

So, what do you have to do to get this new rate. Absolutely nothing if you are already using Strencom Skype for Business UC. From 1st October, there will be a new rate card applied to your account and all calls to Ireland and UK landlines will be rated zero. If you have recently signed up for Strencom’ service and have agreed a minimum contract term, don’t fret, these charges will also apply to your new service from the same date as every other customer, 1st October 2017.

We are delighted to offer this significant price reduction to our corporate customers across Ireland and the UK, and in particular without any major conditions or contact resigning requirements. As always, we will continue to introduce better value across all our services and we expect to make further announcements in the coming months.

This price drop to zero of certain geographic numbers (Ireland & UK Landlines) is a significant development in the Unified Communications market and the global communications as a whole, and is the first step in what we believe will ultimately result in all calls being free, right across the planet.

If you are using Skype for Business from a provider other than Strencom and would like to hear more about this and our full range of Skype for Business Services, get in touch with us today. For a cheat sheet comparing the various Skype for Business options, download it here. Skype4B_Cheatsheet.
